What Janitor Plus (janitor+) includes
Janitor AI's June 24 announcement describes janitor+ as its first-ever subscription product, and the free version stays free. The plus page lists 5x more context for memory, faster replies when the site is busy (3x faster, per the page), monthly "swipes" with the best models, more models, a golden username and checkmark, and emoji reactions on comments. Janitor says free users get unlimited chats with standard models and around 9k tokens of context. Our Janitor AI review covers the platform itself.
| Date | Event |
|---|---|
| June 24, 2026 | janitor+ announced at $12.99 a month or $99 a year |
| July 30, 2026 | janitor+ Router launched, web only, subscribers only |
| October 8, 2026 | Terms updated, including subscription and Router-credit billing |
janitor+ price
The web plus page and the US App Store list both show $12.99 for the monthly plan and $99.00 for the annual one. Twelve monthly payments cost $155.88, so the annual plan saves $56.88, in line with the "Save 36%" label. We saw the web page from a European IP, priced in dollars. Android and web checkout prices were not visible to us. Subscriptions auto-renew, and the terms say price changes apply from the next billing cycle. For other apps, see our pricing overview.
The janitor+ Router
The Router lets subscribers use third-party AI models inside Janitor without bringing their own API keys. Janitor's help center says usage is billed per token at the price shown for each model from a built-in wallet, topped up in dollar amounts. Subscribers received $5 of launch credits that expire one year after they are claimed, plus 10% off some popular models.
- It needs an active janitor+ subscription to buy or use credits.
- It is web only at launch.
- Credits are final sale and non-refundable except where the law requires.
- If the balance runs out mid-chat, the message may complete, but further requests need funds.
The model list and prices appear only after login, so we cannot list them. We also could not confirm what Janitor says about chat handling when a Router model is used.
Free tier, your own API and cancelling
Bringing your own model is still allowed: the October 2026 terms describe configuring an API proxy in your settings as permitted use. Costs from the other provider are separate, and the built-in JLLM model is free.
To cancel on the web, use Settings > Billing > Manage Subscription; app subscriptions are cancelled in the App Store or Google Play, not on the web. The plan then runs to the end of the period and reverts to free. Subscriptions are generally non-refundable except where the terms or law require. See our cancellation guide.
What is still unclear
Janitor's Router help page calls the subscription "janitor+", while the announcement and the help center's "recommended model" wording say "JLLM+", and no page explains whether that is a separate model tier. The June 24 post lists voice and image as planned future modalities, and neither is documented as offered today.
