What Is CrushOn.AI?
CrushOn.AI (also written CrushOn AI or Crushon) is a character chat platform operated by TECHIEPIE LTD, a company in Nicosia, Cyprus; the site footer also lists an address in Dover, Delaware. Its page title calls it "No Filter NSFW Character AI Chat". You chat in text with characters from a large public catalog made by other users, or create your own.
What sets it apart is the model picker: the official wiki lists in-house models (Leo, Taurus, Mochi, Sagittarius) next to third-party ones it names as Claude, Gemini, GPT, DeepSeek, Mistral and others, and the list changes often. The wiki says CrushOn.AI "is specialized in the text generation".
Who Is CrushOn.AI For?
CrushOn.AI suits adults who mainly want text roleplay: a big library of user-made characters, a choice of models and memory sizes, and a free plan to test with. How CrushOn.AI Works
You can browse characters without an account; to chat, you log in with Google, Discord, SubscribeStar or email. Usage is metered through models and credits:
- Free Models: unlimited on every plan, including Free.
- Pro Models: each reply uses message credits. The Pro Models Chat Package add-on makes them unlimited.
- Ultra Models: not available on Free; they use credits on paid plans.
The credit cost of each model is not published. Coins (earned through daily log-ins and invites) and Diamonds (bought to tip creators or unlock their Paid Content) also exist.
Character Creation
The wiki describes two routes: a Quick Start where you "fill in a few simple fields", or importing a character from another platform as a JSON file (see our glossary entry on the character card format). Advanced guides cover multi-character bots, trackers and custom instructions.
The description acts as permanent memory (the wiki recommends about 1,500 tokens), and plans allow 10 profile cards on Free up to 400 on Imperial. Our guide on how to create an AI character shows how to structure a persona for platforms like this.
Chat Quality
We did not chat on CrushOn.AI. Officially, reply quality depends on the model you pick: the wiki FAQ notes that "SFW roles strictly block sensitive words" and that some third-party models can return empty replies because of their own moderation, so users switch models. Free users share capacity, so replies may be slower at peak times.
Trustpilot had 22 reviews averaging 1.8 out of 5, a small sample including reviews that steer readers to other sites, which we ignore. Of the rest, a long-time user (April 2026) praised the model variety and creator community but called many models stale or unstable, and other 2026 reviewers reported NSFW refusals and repetitive characters.
Personality and Roleplay
The wiki lists custom instructions, trackers, character "thoughts", reply editing, conversation branching and pinned messages, and characters carry tags such as Action, Story and RPG. Group Chat, for Standard subscribers and up, puts several characters in one chat with a speaking order and @mentions; it runs on a model with 8K memory.

Memory
Memory is better documented here than on most adult platforms, and it depends on your plan:
- Context size: 8K tokens on Free, 16K on Standard, Premium and Luxe, 24K on Elite and Imperial.
- Pinned messages: 4,000 to 8,000 characters per chat depending on plan, with about 800 characters recommended per pin.
- Auto-Summarization: older chat is summarized into long-term memory; Luxe and above can also re-summarize on demand (5 times a day on Luxe, up to 30 on Imperial).
- Save Memories: select up to 100 messages to keep, with public, unlisted or private visibility.

Voice Features
CrushOn.AI offers voice messages, not live calls. Your recordings are transcribed, characters can answer in their own voice, and every reply has text-to-speech playback. You can clone a custom voice from about 30 seconds of audio (private use, consent checkbox), with 1 voice slot on Free up to 30 on Imperial. Recordings you send are deleted after 24 hours. Image Generation
We found no on-demand image generator on the pricing page, in the Terms or on the wiki. Creators can attach their own images to characters, and Hidden Content shows creator-supplied explicit images, but no tool to generate a new picture is documented. Adult / NSFW Features
CrushOn.AI is 18+ only, with a self-declared age checkbox at login. The official wiki describes three content levels:
- Filtered (default): no sexual content in chats or images.
- Unfiltered: characters may engage in sexual roleplay in chat, but images cannot show nudity or sexual acts. Turning the switch on shows an "I'm over 18" pop-up.
- Hidden Content: full NSFW access, including nude and sexual imagery, for registered users only. You unlock it by logging in, completing the daily check-in on 2 days and spending 50 message credits.
The Community Guidelines still bar sexual content in avatars and profiles, characters who are minors and realistic images of real people.
Watch out
Several Trustpilot users wrote between July 28 and August 20, 2026 that enabling 18+ content now requires a US$0.99 card payment described as "age verification". These are unconfirmed user reports: no official page we read mentions such a charge, and the logged-out switch showed only a self-declaration pop-up when checked from an EU IP. It may apply only to some regions or accounts.

Mobile and Web Availability
The full product runs in a browser. The official wiki's app page lists:
- Android: download the APK from the official site and install it manually (sideload).
- iPhone: add the site to your home screen as a web app, or install through AltStore, a sideloading tool.
- PC: add the site through Chrome; there is no native desktop client.

The pricing page lists plans in US dollars (seen logged out from an EU IP, October 20, 2026), without saying whether tax is included.

In short: six tiers from Free to Imperial at $199.99 a month; annual billing runs from $58.88 a year (Standard) to $1,799.99 (Imperial). The Pro Models Chat Package ($39.99 a month or $299.99 a year) adds unlimited Pro Model chat. The old Deluxe plan is marked "Retired", though the wiki still lists it.
CrushOn.AI publishes no fixed Message credits packs with prices.
Spent on: Message credits are consumed by AI replies on Pro and Ultra models (Free Models are unlimited); the wiki FAQ says each AI reply costs 2 messages when coins are redeemed 1:1 as bonus messages; unlocking Hidden Content needs 50 message credits spent; 'up to 70% off on PRO voice generation' implies voice generation also uses a paid allowance. Diamonds are used to gift/support creators and to unlock creators' Paid Content (Terms, revised 2026-09-22); coins are earned by daily login, creating characters and inviting friends.
The Terms say subscriptions are charged monthly in advance; they do not describe how annual plans renew. To cancel on the web: Profile, My Subscription, Manage, Cancel Subscription, before the next billing date (SubscribeStar or Paymentwall subscribers cancel there). Refunds are essentially unavailable: credits and Diamonds are final, with no partial refunds. In a July 2026 Trustpilot report, a subscriber said a renewal charge left the account on Free and support offered a half-month extension instead of a refund. Free Plan
The permanent free plan includes:
- 100 message credits a month and unlimited Free Models (Pro Models use credits; no Ultra Models)
- 8K memory, 200 historical messages per character and 4,000 pinned characters per chat
- a maximum AI message length of 225 (unit not stated) and 20 inspiration replies a day
- 10 profile cards and one custom voice slot; no group chat

Privacy and Data Handling
CrushOn.AI's privacy policy was last modified on March 6, 2025, before the creator and Diamond features added to the Terms in September 2026. These are its main points:
- Collected: email, name, gender, age, social login handles, uploaded avatars and voice, device data, and your chats and character designs. Financial data is not stored.
- Training use: yes. Chat content is used "in a general way for training our models", without linking it to specific users. No opt-out is described.
- Staff access: the Community Guidelines say human moderators and automated systems review accounts, characters and interactions.
- Third parties: hosting and support providers, the "operator of the AI basic model" (not named), Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager for remarketing, and advertising SDKs in the mobile app. Data is processed in the US.
- Encryption and retention: no encryption statement, only "commercially reasonable security measures", and no fixed retention periods.
- Deletion: Profile, Settings, Delete Account (not possible with an active subscription; recoverable for 3 days), or email support. No chat export tool.
