Two notes on the table. Candy AI showed us euro prices only, so the table converts them at the ECB rate of October 19, 2026 (€1 = $1.1225); its monthly figure is the €13.99 renewal price, after a €9.99 first month. And "Multiple characters" means several characters per account: only CrushOn.AI documents a chat with several characters at once (Standard and up). Free Plan: A 5-Message Preview or a Plan You Can Keep

Candy AI's free account allows 5 messages in total across all characters, one custom character and one image. After that, the Terms say "further use requires a subscription".

CrushOn.AI's free plan has no end date: 100 message credits a month, unlimited Free Models, 8K memory and 20 inspiration replies a day. The limits are real, though: no Ultra Models or group chat, slower replies at busy times, and chat history deleted after 7 days of inactivity.

What You Pay: One Euro Plan or Six Dollar Tiers

Candy AI sells a single Premium tier, seen in euros from an EU IP: €9.99 for the first month and €13.99 after that, €26.97 a quarter or €47.88 a year. Every term includes unlimited text and 100 tokens a month. A Premium Plus tier (330 tokens) exists, but its price is not public.

CrushOn.AI's dollar tiers run from Standard at $5.99 to Imperial at $199.99 a month, or $58.88 to $1,799.99 a year. Higher tiers mostly add credits, memory and limits, and a separate Pro Models Chat Package costs $39.99 a month.

At the entry level the cheapest year is close: €47.88 (about $53.75 at the ECB rate) for Candy AI against $58.88 for CrushOn.AI Standard. What you get differs: Candy AI's year includes the media features and 100 tokens a month, CrushOn.AI's includes 2,000 credits a month, 16K memory and group chat. Tokens vs Message Credits

Both apps meter something on top of the subscription, but different things:

• Candy AI tokens pay for images, video, listening to voice messages, voice calls, character creation and private content packs. Text chat is free on Premium. Most rates are unpublished (Candy Roulette is 5 tokens a minute), top-up prices appear only after sign-in, and the Terms and help center disagree on whether tokens survive cancellation.
• CrushOn.AI credits pay for replies from Pro and Ultra models; Free Models are unlimited on every tier. The credit cost per model is not published and credit packs show only "Loading" to logged-out visitors. Paid tiers get a 5% to 25% bonus on credit purchases.

So Candy AI's text chat costs a fixed price while its media spending varies; CrushOn.AI stays fixed as long as you use Free Models.

Images and Video

This is the clearest difference. Candy AI lists 18+ images and videos as Premium benefits. You can ask for a picture in chat or use the generator, turn an image into a short clip, assemble a video from presets, watch Candy Shorts, and on selected characters use Live Action, interactive erotic video scenes currently on mobile only.

CrushOn.AI has no on-demand image generator on its pricing page, Terms or wiki, which says the platform "is specialized in the text generation". Creators can attach their own images, and the Hidden Content level shows creator-supplied explicit images, but you cannot ask the AI for a new picture. Text Chat, Models and Roleplay

CrushOn.AI is built for text roleplay. A model picker offers in-house models (Leo, Taurus, Mochi, Sagittarius) and third-party ones named on the wiki, such as Claude, Gemini, GPT and DeepSeek. Roleplay tools include custom instructions, trackers, reply editing and branching. Trustpilot reviewers in 2026 praised the model choice but also reported unstable models, NSFW refusals and repetitive characters (user reports from a small sample).

Candy AI does not name its models. Created characters run in Classic or Roleplay Mode (the switch is permanent), with Interactive Stories and Clone Chat for branching stories, and Premium Plus adds user personas. Memory

CrushOn.AI documents its memory by tier: 8K on Free, 16K on Standard to Luxe and 24K on Elite and Imperial, plus pinned messages (4,000 to 8,000 characters per chat), auto-summarization and Save Memories for up to 100 messages. Candy AI promises "memory retention" without a context size; memory is tied to the active chat and cleared by Reset Chat, and Premium Plus lists 20 memory slots. More on AI companions with memory.

Characters

Candy AI centers on its builder: ethnicity, age range, eyes, hair, body, personality, voice, hobbies and relationship type, with more detail costing more tokens, plus over 100 premade characters. CrushOn.AI centers on a large public library of user-made characters; you can create your own from a few fields or import one as JSON, with 10 to 400 profile cards depending on the tier. Voice

Candy AI characters send voice notes in the voice you pick, which cost tokens to play, and voice calls are in beta, also paid with tokens at no published rate. CrushOn.AI has voice messages with transcription, read-aloud on every reply and custom voice cloning from about 30 seconds of audio (1 to 30 voice slots by tier), but no live calls. NSFW Content and Age Checks

Candy AI is adult by design: 18+ images, videos and Live Action come with Premium, and there is no filter switch, although moderation can alter or block requests. CrushOn.AI uses three levels: Filtered (the default), Unfiltered (sexual roleplay in chat, no nude images) and Hidden Content (full NSFW for registered users after a 2-day check-in and 50 credits spent).

Both ban characters or depictions of minors and realistic images of real people. Both rely on self-declared age at sign-up; Candy AI's Privacy Notice also mentions third-party age estimation or ID checks depending on location, and its Terms block access from China and Singapore. Several CrushOn.AI users reported in July and August 2026 that enabling 18+ content required a US$0.99 card payment; no official page we read mentions it. Apps and Access

Candy AI runs in the browser and installs as a Progressive Web App; its help center says there is no native iOS or Android app. CrushOn.AI also runs in the browser, and its wiki offers an Android APK and, on iPhone, a home-screen web app or an AltStore install. Privacy and Data

Both policies allow your chats to be used for AI training, and neither describes an opt-out. Beyond that, Candy AI's documents are more specific:

• Policy date: Candy AI's Privacy Notice was revised October 19, 2026; CrushOn.AI's was last modified March 6, 2025.
• Encryption: Candy AI states TLS 1.2+ in transit; CrushOn.AI makes no encryption statement.
• Retention: Candy AI keeps account data up to 3 years after your last activity (financial data 10 years); CrushOn.AI sets no fixed periods.
• Who sees chats: Candy AI reviews flagged content and samples content for quality checks, and LLM providers may receive messages; CrushOn.AI uses human moderators and automated systems, and its policy lists Google remarketing tools and ad SDKs in the mobile app.
• Deletion: Candy AI's Delete Account also cancels the subscription; CrushOn.AI will not delete an account with an active subscription. Neither offers a chat export.

Canceling and Refunds

Candy AI is the more forgiving of the two. Its Terms allow a refund if you email support within 24 hours of a card payment and have used 20 tokens or fewer, and EU and UK buyers have a 14-day withdrawal right on the first purchase. You cancel under My Profile, Settings, "Unsubscribe". CrushOn.AI makes fees, credits and Diamonds non-refundable except where the law requires it; you cancel under Profile, My Subscription, Manage, before the next billing date. • Best for free use: CrushOn.AI. 100 credits a month and unlimited Free Models against Candy AI's 5 messages.
• Best for text roleplay and model choice: CrushOn.AI. A model picker and roleplay tools Candy AI does not document.
• Best for long memory: CrushOn.AI. Published context sizes, pins and summaries.
• Best for voice calls: Candy AI. Calls are in beta and paid with tokens; CrushOn.AI has none.
• Best refund terms: Candy AI. A 24-hour window and EU and UK withdrawal rights.
