How to read the price rows: Candy AI showed euro prices, converted here at the ECB rate of October 19, 2026 (€1 = $1.1225). DreamGF's rows show its renewal prices; its first month is $12.99 and its first year $44.28. "Multiple characters" means several characters per account; neither app documents a chat with several characters at once. Full details are in our Candy AI review and DreamGF review.

What Each Costs Over Two Years

Both apps discount the first payment, but only DreamGF discounts every first period and then doubles. Assuming prices stay as seen on October 20, 2026:

The currencies differ: Candy AI showed euros and DreamGF dollars, both to an EU visitor. At the ECB rate, Candy AI's €47.88 is about $53.75, so DreamGF's first year is roughly $9 cheaper, and from the second year Candy AI is about $35 a year cheaper. On monthly billing Candy AI costs less from the start: €13.99 (about $15.70) against $25.98 after the first month. Candy AI adds that local taxes may apply; DreamGF does not mention tax.

Tokens: Published Rates vs Hidden Rates

Both subscriptions include a monthly token allowance for media and voice. How much you can do with it is only clear on DreamGF:

So on DreamGF you can budget: 150 tokens cover about 15 images or 21 minutes of calls. On Candy AI you cannot, beyond the Roulette rate. Neither publishes enough to work out a price per token.

Each has a token trap. Candy AI's Terms say unused subscription tokens expire when the subscription ends, while its help center says they stay. DreamGF's "+100 instant tokens" offer means you cannot cancel for 30 days. Text chat is unlimited on both premium plans, so tokens only matter for media and voice.

The Builders

Both apps are built around designing your own AI girlfriend. DreamGF's builder has more appearance controls: ethnicity, face style, body type, hair style and color, breasts, photo style, clothes, age, tattoos, plus personality, interests, hobbies and occupation. Creating one costs 20 tokens, and an optional intro sets up the roleplay.

Candy AI's builder covers ethnicity (three options, two more in development), age range, eyes, hair, body features, personality, voice, hobbies or occupation and relationship type; more detail costs more tokens. Created characters run in Classic or Roleplay Mode, and the switch to Roleplay is permanent.

For ready-made characters, Candy AI has over 100 premade ones and "digital twins" of three content creators made with their consent. DreamGF lets you swipe through girls made by other users and message AI models based on real influencers, priced per influencer. Images and Video

Both generate explicit images on request. DreamGF detects photo requests in chat, keeps images of the same girl consistent, and promotes a nude image generator; premium removes blur. Candy AI offers pictures in chat or in a generator, with a toggle to stop automatic images using tokens.

Video is where Candy AI does more: image-to-video clips, a preset video builder, Candy Shorts, Live Action (interactive erotic scenes, mobile only, selected characters), Candy Cam and Candy Roulette video chat. Voice Messages and Calls

Both offer voice notes and calls. DreamGF publishes the rates: 3 tokens per voice message and 7 tokens a minute for browser calls, available since August 2024. One detailed Trustpilot review (June 2026) said the call feature "works 20% of the time", a single user report. Chat, Memory and Roleplay

Neither app publishes a context size. Candy AI says memory is tied to the active chat (Reset Chat clears it) and lists 20 memory slots on Premium Plus. DreamGF documents no memory system at all; its roadmap only says the chat intro will be remembered. For roleplay, Candy AI has Roleplay Mode, Interactive Stories and Clone Chat, and DreamGF lets premium members edit the AI's replies. Free Access

Candy AI's free account stops at 5 messages, one character and one image. DreamGF's free trial needs no card and has no stated end date, but its message and image limits are not published; a Daily Claim Bonus adds 10 to 50 messages a day for consecutive log-ins. DreamGF gives you more room to look around before paying.

Where You Can Use Them

Both run only in the browser, with a home-screen install. App Store listings using either name come from other sellers. The bigger difference is the UK: DreamGF restricts UK access until a supported age-verification process exists, and neither a purchase nor an age declaration unlocks it. Refunds, Canceling and Ongoing Charges

Candy AI: refund if you email within 24 hours of a card payment with 20 tokens or fewer used; EU and UK buyers have a 14-day withdrawal right on the first purchase. Cancel under My Profile, Settings, "Unsubscribe"; deleting the account also cancels.
DreamGF: no refunds of subscription fees unless consumer law requires one, and none once you have used messages, photos or tokens, though the Terms allow discretionary refunds. No in-account cancel steps are given: RocketGate subscribers email support and Segpay subscribers use cs.segpay.com. The Membership Policy also allows a $1.99 monthly "maintenance charge" on former paying users' accounts to keep their data stored.

Privacy

Both operators are EU companies (EverAI in Malta, DreamAI in Romania), but their policies differ:

AI training: Candy AI's Terms license your chats for training, with no opt-out. DreamGF's privacy policy does not say either way.
Staff access: Candy AI reviews flagged content and samples content for quality checks. DreamGF's privacy policy limits chat review to problems you report, but its Content and Monitoring Policy says human moderators review flagged content.
Encryption and retention: Candy AI states TLS 1.2+ in transit and fixed retention periods. DreamGF claims "advanced encryption" without detail and sets no fixed periods.
Where data goes: Candy AI may send messages to LLM providers and transfer data outside the EU, including the US. DreamGF stores data with DigitalOcean and says it processes data within the EEA.
