Kindroid retired its free plan on October 1, 2026, SpicyChat raised every plan on September 8, 2026, and Character.AI filed for Chapter 11 on October 12, 2026. Each change sent people looking for the cancel button, the delete button or a way to keep their chats.
Every fact in these guides comes from an app's own help center, terms, privacy policy, plan page or store listing, or from a primary source named on the page, such as Apple and Google support pages for subscription steps and the European Commission and the California Attorney General for data rights. We did not create accounts or pay, so we list the routes that are documented and say "not published" where an app gives none. Nothing here is legal advice.
