Candy AI's prices were shown in euros and are converted here at the ECB rate of October 19, 2026 (€1 = $1.1225). Muah AI's are "Not public" because they appear only after login. Prices You Can See Before Paying

Candy AI's plan page is public. Logged out from an EU IP, it showed Premium at €9.99 for the first month and €13.99 after, €26.97 a quarter or €47.88 a year, each with unlimited text and 100 tokens a month. Only Premium Plus is unpriced. Our Candy AI price breakdown works through the totals.

Muah AI does not publish prices. Its pricing link sends logged-out visitors back to the homepage, and figures appear only in the logged-in checkout. The interface text confirms three tiers, each billed monthly or yearly:

• VIP: "Unlimited essentials": unlimited chat, photo generation and Photo X-Ray.
• GPT5 / UHD VIP: "Sharper replies and higher-end media".
• ULTRA VIP: "Top tier access with live calling".

Third-party sites quote Muah AI prices, but none could be confirmed on an official page, so we do not repeat them and cannot say which app is cheaper. Muah AI's public pages also do not state whether plans renew automatically; Candy AI's Terms say they do.

Trying Before You Pay

Muah AI has the easier start: "Play Demo (No Login Needed)" opens a chatroom with a premade companion until an unstated message cap. Its guide says free use "can have guest prompts, message limits, photo-generation quotas, photo-viewing locks, or call allowances", without numbers. Candy AI's free account is fixed and small: 5 messages, one character and one image. Other ways to start without an account are in our list of the free AI girlfriend apps without signup.

Tokens vs XP

Candy AI uses tokens: 100 a month with Premium, spent on images, video, voice messages, voice calls and character creation, with most rates unpublished and top-ups priced only after sign-in. Muah AI uses XP instead. According to its guide, XP is shared across your character slots, 1,000 XP makes a level, and levels are spent on extra slots (up to ten), music generation and some media upgrades. Video shows an XP or access cost, with a 10-second Gen 2 clip costing twice a 5-second one. How you earn or buy XP is not described publicly.

Voice Messages and Live Calls

Muah AI has the broader voice set: record voice messages with a transcript, have replies read aloud with "Gen Voice", and start a live call "if your account has access". ULTRA VIP is the tier described as "Real-time phone call access", and voice limits are not published. Candy AI's characters send voice notes that cost tokens to play, voice calls are in beta and paid with tokens, and Premium Plus adds "live audio". Photos, Video and Music

Both generate adult images. Muah AI sends photos on request or through a "Spice it up" scene button, offers 4K Enhance and separate adult image tools (Photo X-Ray and Advanced X-Ray), and turns photos into 5, 10 or 15 second clips, with an audio option in Gen 2. Its "Sensitive scenes" setting for adult video lowers quality, says the guide. A Music Generator creates music from a vibe and lyrics, paid with XP levels.

Candy AI offers 18+ images in chat or a generator, image-to-video, a preset video builder, Candy Shorts, Live Action (interactive erotic scenes, mobile only, selected characters), Candy Cam and Candy Roulette video chat at 5 tokens a minute. Characters, Models and Memory

Muah AI is text-configured. Each companion has an editable Core Prompt (presets Girlfriend, Wife, Mistress or Custom), a Look-Like description for photos, a Photo Style (Realistic, Anime, Pro Mode) and a voice. An "AI Core" selector picks the model, with a temperature from 0 to 1 and a fallback core, and community characters can be imported. Replies use recent chat within a "membership-based token budget", and an optional Memory Compaction (beta) writes older facts into an editable summary.

Candy AI is visual: a builder with ethnicity, age range, eyes, hair, body features, personality, voice and relationship type, over 100 premade characters, and Classic or Roleplay Mode. It does not name its models, ties memory to the active chat and lists 20 memory slots on Premium Plus. If you like writing a character prompt and tuning the model, Muah AI gives more control; if you prefer picking a look from menus, Candy AI is simpler. More on custom characters.

Adult Content and Age Checks

Both are adult products. Muah AI says it "offers uncensored AI companion chat and NSFW features for adults", but notes that adult chat access does not mean equal access to every media or calling feature, and that AI cores behave differently. Its guide also mentions a safe-for-work "app mode" that we could not locate. Candy AI includes 18+ images, videos and Live Action with Premium, with moderation that can block requests.

On age, Muah AI has only an 18+ statement, with no ID, selfie or card check described. Candy AI's age gate is also a self-declaration, but its Privacy Notice mentions third-party age estimation or ID checks depending on location. Our list of NSFW AI girlfriend apps covers other options.

Apps and Access

Both run in the browser and install as web apps on a phone's home screen. Muah AI also links an Android APK from its homepage; neither has an iPhone app, and the Australian eSafety Commissioner says Muah AI is "only available through its website". Privacy and Security Record

Muah AI's 2024 breach

In October 2024, 404 Media reported that a hacker had taken Muah AI's database of chatbot prompts, many linked to email addresses that looked like personal accounts. Have I Been Pwned lists about 1.9 million affected addresses, with AI prompts and sexual fetishes among the exposed data, and a Linklaters briefing said the data was reportedly used for extortion. The administrator blamed competitors, according to Malwarebytes and CyberInsider; we found no independent evidence for that and no breach statement on muah.ai. The eSafety Commissioner's guide warns of "significant data hacks".

Candy AI has no reported breach in our sources. In January 2025, Bellingcat reported that Candy.ai ads had appeared on a deepfake pornography site; the links were removed after its questions, and EverAI said it does "not condone or promote the creation of deepfakes".

What the policies say

• Policy date: Muah AI's Privacy Policy and Terms are dated May 17, 2022; Candy AI's Privacy Notice was revised October 19, 2026.
• Encryption: Muah AI promises only "reasonable security measures"; Candy AI states TLS 1.2+ in transit.
• Retention: none stated by Muah AI; Candy AI keeps account data up to 3 years after your last activity.
• Training: Muah AI's policy does not address it, though its Terms license your content "for the purpose of providing and promoting the Service"; Candy AI's Terms allow training on your chats, with no opt-out.
• Your data: Muah AI offers chat export (PNG or HTML), .muah backups, "Wipe Cloud Data" and account deletion. Candy AI has account deletion but no export.

Billing, Canceling and Refunds

Muah AI's Terms say subscriptions "are NOT refundable", with a one-time partial or full refund possible "given special circumstances". If you dispute a charge with your bank without contacting support first, the company applies a "zero refund stance". You cancel by emailing [email protected], in the settings ("Manage VIP") or through the payment provider; one 2024 Trustpilot user said they could not find the cancel option.

Candy AI allows a refund if you email within 24 hours of a card payment with 20 tokens or fewer used, plus a 14-day withdrawal right for EU and UK buyers on the first purchase. You cancel under My Profile, Settings, "Unsubscribe". Our cancellation guide has general steps.
