SpicyChat is the most like-for-like swap: a large library of user-made adult characters (its download page claims 300,000+), more than ten AI models chosen per chat, group chats with 2 to 10 bots, lorebooks and Character.AI card import. Its FAQ says every chatbot can engage in NSFW roleplay, with no extra unlock steps. The free tier has no published message cap, against CrushOn.AI's 100 credits, but a smaller 4,096-token context.

It also adds what CrushOn.AI lacks: Conversation Images with an NSFW mode from the True Supporter plan ($19.95 a month) and text-to-speech on I'm All In ($29.95). Plans start at $5.95 after a September 8, 2026 price rise. The trade-offs: NSFW content needs a selfie or ID check in France, the UK, Italy, Australia and 26 US states, there is no iOS app either, its 2023 Privacy Policy does not mention chats, and its Terms license chats for uses including "selling". Janitor AI removes the credit meter: the free tier offers unlimited chats with millions of user-made bots on its built-in JLLM model, with a context of about 9,000 tokens (close to CrushOn.AI's free 8K). For model choice you can connect your own model in API settings (the help center's example uses OpenRouter), paying that provider directly, or subscribe to janitor+ ($12.99 a month or $99 a year) for 5x more context and the pay-per-token Router on the web.

Adult content between consenting adult characters is allowed for users 18 and over, with no check-in hoops, though nude images are banned. Unlike CrushOn.AI it has official iOS and Android apps (beta), but they start in Restricted Mode until you change it on the website. There are no voice or image features, memory is mostly a field you write yourself, and users in the UK, Australia and Brazil must pass a k-ID age check. Janitor says it does not sell personal data; it does not say whether chats train its model.

GirlfriendGPT keeps the CrushOn.AI format, a public library of user-made NSFW characters with tags and creator profiles, and adds what CrushOn.AI only plans: a standalone image generator with 10 styles, 1 to 8 images per prompt and a Safe Mode switch, plus image-to-video for Deluxe and Elite subscribers since March 2026. You can try a few messages before registering.

It is weaker where CrushOn.AI is strong. No memory system or model choice is documented, the free allowance is tiny (the Terms give 10 to 20 messages in total as an example), and prices appear only in an undated FAQ: $15, $35 and $50 a month. It runs as a web app with a stated Android APK. The operator is NextDay AI, which also runs SpicyChat; its policy says personal data is not sold and keeps data 6 years after you leave.

Nomi is a companion app, not a character catalog: you create up to 10 companions on a paid plan instead of browsing other users' bots. In exchange it has the most documented memory here: short-, medium- and long-term memory, an Identity Core and Mind Map 2.0, an editable map of what each Nomi remembers. CrushOn.AI's memory depends on context size and summaries.

Text chat is marketed as unfiltered, but nude photos are not permitted, much like CrushOn.AI's Unfiltered level without Hidden Content. The free plan gives 50 messages a day; voice calls, group chats and video need the Standard plan ($15.99 a month or $99.99 a year on the US App Store). Nomi has an iOS app, requires Google or Apple sign-in, and says it will not sell personal information. It is not end-to-end encrypted.

Kindroid gives CrushOn.AI users the one thing no character site here offers: real-time voice calls and live video calls, alongside custom voices, selfies and group chats with up to 10 Kindroids. Its guidelines allow NSFW and erotic roleplay in private chats and state that no filter is applied to the AI itself, only account-level safety checks. Shared community characters exist, but suggestive listings are hidden by default.

The catch is price: no free plan since October 1, 2026 (only a one-time 50-message preview), $15.99 a month on the US App Store, and calls use audio credits. It has iOS and Android apps, encrypts chats at rest and in transit, says it does not sell or share personal data, and offers a data export, which CrushOn.AI does not.

Candy AI suits CrushOn.AI users who want a designed AI girlfriend with pictures and video rather than a big library. Premium includes unlimited text chat, 18+ images, image-to-video and Live Action erotic video scenes, with media paid in tokens (100 a month included). Instead of a large library, you build characters or pick from over 100 pre-made ones.
