Janitor AI is the closest platform with fewer of SpicyChat's current drawbacks. The free tier has unlimited chats with millions of user-made bots on its own JLLM model, with a context of about 9,000 tokens, roughly double SpicyChat's free 4,096. Adult content between consenting adult characters is allowed. There is one paid plan, janitor+ at $12.99 a month or $99 a year, for 5x more context and faster replies, and you can connect your own model through API settings.

It has official iOS and Android apps (beta), but they start in Restricted Mode, which you switch off on the website. It has no images, voice or documented group chats, and memory is mostly manual. Age checks apply in fewer places than SpicyChat's list: a one-time k-ID check in the UK, Australia and Brazil. Its 2026 privacy policy says it does not sell personal data. CrushOn.AI is the same kind of site, a large user-made character library with adult roleplay, and gives more for the entry price. Its Standard plan costs $5.99 a month ($58.88 a year) and includes 2,000 message credits, 16K-memory models, group chat and three custom voice slots, against a 4K context on SpicyChat's $5.95 plan. The free plan offers 100 credits a month, unlimited Free Models and 8K memory. Voice messages and voice cloning are on every tier, where SpicyChat reserves voice for $29.95.

The catches: no image generator (SpicyChat has Conversation Images), explicit images behind a check-in and credit spend, per-model credit costs not published, and free history deleted after 7 days of inactivity. Kindroid has what SpicyChat does not: real-time voice calls and live video calls, plus custom voices, photo and video selfies, and group chats (up to 20, each with up to 10 Kindroids). NSFW and erotic roleplay are allowed in private chats, and it has native iOS and Android apps. Its standard plan is $15.99 a month on the US App Store, less than SpicyChat's $29.95 voice tier, though calls also use audio credits.

It is a companion app built around a few characters you shape, not a library of 300,000 bots, and it has had no free plan since October 1, 2026. On privacy it documents more than SpicyChat: chats encrypted at rest and in transit, no selling or sharing of personal data, and a self-serve data export.

Nomi suits SpicyChat users who mostly talk to the same few characters. Its memory system (short-, medium- and long-term memory, Identity Core and an editable Mind Map 2.0) is free to use within 50 messages a day, while SpicyChat locks Memory Manager and Semantic Memory behind paid tiers. It has an iOS app, voice calls, group chats and video on the $15.99 Standard plan (US App Store).

Text chat is marketed as unfiltered, but nude images are not permitted, unlike SpicyChat's NSFW image mode. There is no community library to browse. Nomi's policy says it will not sell personal information and deletes your data about 28 days after account deletion.

Nastia AI answers SpicyChat's tier split. Its landing pages advertise a single $15.99 Unlimited plan with unlimited messages and selfies, HD video, voice messages, custom voices and group chats, where SpicyChat needs $29.95 for images on any character plus voice. The free tier is "free forever", with NSFW chat from the first message and a daily token limit.

Check the price at checkout: the real checkout is behind login, and Nastia's own comparison pages quote different figures. It is a web app with no store listing, refunds only for legal or technical-error cases, and uses an age-assurance check where laws such as the UK Online Safety Act require it. Trustpilot reviewers report billing problems (user reports).

Character.AI is for SpicyChat users who miss an App Store app and mostly roleplay without adult themes. It offers unlimited free messaging, free voice calls, a library of 10M+ characters and a chat export, on iOS, Android and the web.

Adult content is banned for everyone, the free tier has ads, and every account goes through age assurance. The company filed for Chapter 11 on October 12, 2026, and the platform may be wound down if no buyer keeps it running.
