The SpicyChat price increase: old and new prices

SpicyChat published the old and new prices in a pricing-update FAQ. All prices below are US dollars on the web; the change percentages are our calculation from those figures.

Plan	Before	Since September 8, 2026	Change
Get A Taste, monthly	$5.00	$5.95	+19%
Get A Taste, annual	$50.00	$60.00	+20%
True Supporter, monthly	$14.95	$19.95	+33%
True Supporter, annual	$149.95	$199.95	+33%
I'm All In, monthly	$24.95	$29.95	+20%
I'm All In, annual	$249.95	$299.95	+20%

The FAQ says euro prices match the dollar figures, and it lists UK prices of £4.95, £16.95 and £25.95 a month. The live subscribe page showed the euro prices when we checked from a European IP on October 20, 2026. True Supporter had the biggest jump, so an old True Supporter rate is the one most worth keeping.

Who keeps the old price

The FAQ sets out the rules for people who already pay:

Your price is locked while the subscription stays active and unchanged.
Any plan change, up or down, moves you to current pricing.
Switching from monthly to annual billing is prorated.
Card subscriptions renew automatically. Pay By Bank payments are one-time and do not renew, and crypto and Boosty subscriptions are linked manually.

As general advice, if you pay an old rate, avoid changing tiers unless the new tier is worth the new price. A downgrade would also lose the lock.

What each tier includes

The company says no features were removed. According to its price table, Get A Taste includes no ads, Memory Manager, 4K context and up to 10 personas. True Supporter adds 8K context, Semantic Memory 2.0, longer replies, Conversation Images for select characters, more models and up to 50 personas. I'm All In adds up to 32K context, text-to-speech and custom voices, a priority queue and up to 100 personas. Full detail is on our SpicyChat pricing page and in the SpicyChat review.

The free plan and refunds

SpicyChat's docs say core features remain free. The free tier is documented at up to 4,096 tokens of context and replies of up to 180 tokens, with default models. Paid-only items include ad-free chat, Memory Manager, Conversation Images, text-to-speech and the priority queue.

The Refund Policy, last updated October 7, 2026, says fees are non-refundable once the login details have been used on the portal. To cancel on the web, go to Profile > Manage Subscription. SpicyChat has no iOS app; it was removed from the App Store in August 2025.
