Quick answer
- Free: 50 messages a day with no time limit and no card required.
- Standard Plan on the US App Store: $15.99 a month (period inferred), $39.99 a quarter (about $13.33 a month) or $99.99 a year (about $8.33 a month).
- Paying yearly instead of monthly saves $91.89 over 12 months.
- A "Launch Plan" at $9.99 a month or $59.99 a year is also listed, but Nomi does not explain it.
- Credits cost $4.99 for 40 up to $99.99 for 1,800. No trial, no lifetime plan, refunds only at Nomi's discretion.
Nomi AI pricing at a glance
Nomi has no public pricing page (nomi.ai/pricing returned a 404 on October 20, 2026), and web checkout shows prices only after sign-in. The table is the US App Store in-app purchase list, the only price list you can check without an account.
| Plan | Price | Billing | Where | Includes |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Standard Plan (monthly) | $15.99 | month | iOS (US App Store in-app purchase list, entry named 'Standard Plan') | Entry is not labelled with a period; the other Standard entries are labelled Quarterly and Yearly. Paid features per Nomipedia: voice messages and calls, group chats, up to 10 active Nomis and 10 group chats, 800-character messages, more daily selfie/art requests, video creation, credit purchases. |
| Standard Plan Quarterly | $39.99 | 3 months | iOS (US App Store) | As Standard |
| Standard Plan Yearly | $99.99 | year | iOS (US App Store) | As Standard |
| Launch Plan Monthly | $9.99 | month | iOS (US App Store) | Listed on the App Store; what it includes and whether new subscribers can buy it is not explained on any official page |
| Launch Plan Yearly | $59.99 | year | iOS (US App Store) | Same caveat as Launch Plan Monthly |

Apple shows only names and prices. The other Standard entries are labelled Quarterly and Yearly, so we read the unlabelled $15.99 "Standard Plan" as monthly. For features, see our Nomi review; this page sticks to cost.
What each plan costs per month
| App Store entry | Price | Per month | Cost over 12 months |
|---|---|---|---|
| Standard Plan (monthly) | $15.99 | $15.99 | $191.88 |
| Standard Plan Quarterly | $39.99 | $13.33 | $159.96 |
| Standard Plan Yearly | $99.99 | $8.33 | $99.99 |
| Launch Plan Monthly | $9.99 | $9.99 | $119.88 |
| Launch Plan Yearly | $59.99 | $5.00 | $59.99 |
Worked example: the biggest lever in Nomi AI pricing is the billing period. Twelve monthly payments of $15.99 add up to $191.88. The yearly plan costs $99.99, so paying upfront saves $91.89, just under half. The quarterly plan sits in between and saves $31.92 a year against monthly billing.
The break-even point is short. Six monthly payments cost $95.94; a seventh takes you to $111.93, past the yearly price. If you expect to keep Nomi for more than six months, the yearly plan is cheaper; if you are unsure, the free plan is the cheaper way to find out.
What is the Nomi Launch Plan?
The US App Store also lists "Launch Plan Monthly" at $9.99 and "Launch Plan Yearly" at $59.99 (about $5.00 a month). No official Nomi page explains what it includes, who can buy it, or how it differs from the Standard Plan, so we do not use it as the headline price.
Tip
If the app offers you a Launch Plan, check what it includes on the subscription screen before you buy. Nomi's refund policy excludes buyer's remorse, so a plan bought by mistake may not be refunded.
What the free plan includes
Nomipedia describes "an indefinite free plan with 50 messages per day", with no credit card needed. Messages can be up to 400 characters, with a smaller daily selfie and art allowance than paid plans. Voice, group chats, video and credit purchases are paid-only; if a subscription ends, they turn read-only while one-to-one chat continues.
Nomi credits: what they cost and what they buy
Credits pay for extras once the daily allowances run out. You need an active subscription to buy them, and they never expire. Prices are from the US App Store:
| Pack | Price | Per unit |
|---|---|---|
| 40 Nomi Credits | $4.99 | $0.125 |
| 100 Nomi Credits | $9.99 | $0.100 |
| 225 Nomi Credits | $19.99 | $0.089 |
| 600 Nomi Credits | $49.99 | $0.083 |
| 1,800 Nomi Credits | $99.99 | $0.056 |
Spent on: 1 credit = 1 selfie, art or image edit request (used only after the daily allowance is spent); 6 credits = standard-definition video, 10 = high-definition video; 25 = extra group chat room; 50 = anchor generation; 100 = extra Nomi slot. Credits do not expire; an active subscription is required to buy them.

- 1 credit: one selfie, art or image-edit request after the daily allowance
- 6 or 10 credits: one video in standard or high definition
- 25 credits: one extra group chat room
- 50 credits: one anchor generation
- 100 credits: one extra Nomi slot beyond the 10 included
Worked example: ten HD videos beyond your daily allowance use 100 credits, which is exactly the $9.99 pack, or about $1.00 per video. The same 100 credits buy one extra Nomi slot. At the 1,800-credit rate (about $0.056 each) those 100 credits cost about $5.56, but only if you will really use 1,800 credits.
Message, image and voice limits by plan
| Limit | Free | Paid |
|---|---|---|
| Messages | 50 per day, 400 characters each | No daily cap stated, 800 characters each |
| Selfie and art requests | Daily allowance (number not published) | Larger daily allowance (number not published), then 1 credit each |
| Voice messages and calls | Not included | Unlimited with Nomi's own and custom voices |
| Nomis and group chats | Not stated | Up to 10 active Nomis and 10 group chats, more for credits |
| Video | Not included | Daily requests, then 6 or 10 credits per video |
ElevenLabs voices are the exception on voice: they draw on your own ElevenLabs account allowance, not Nomi's.
Web vs App Store vs Google Play prices
Nomipedia says web subscriptions are billed in US dollars and "may sometimes offer slightly better effective pricing" than the app stores; web checkout takes Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. Web prices are hidden without an account, so we cannot say how big the difference is.
Google Play prices are unverified: Nomipedia says an Android app exists, but we could not load the listing. You must cancel where you subscribed, so compare web and in-app prices before your first payment.
Renewal, cancellation and refunds
Every Nomi plan renews automatically (monthly, quarterly or yearly) until you cancel before the renewal date. After cancelling, paid features last until the end of the period you paid for, then the account drops to the free plan. To cancel:
- In Nomi on the web, iOS or Android: Profile, then the Subscription tab, then Manage Subscription, then Cancel Subscription.
- For an App Store subscription: iPhone Settings, your Apple ID, Subscriptions.
- For a Google Play subscription: Google Play, Payments and subscriptions, Subscriptions.
Deleting the app does not cancel. Store menus: see our guide to cancelling AI companion subscriptions.
Nomi's refund policy rules out refunds for buyer's remorse, lack of use, dissatisfaction, partial months, downgrades and unused time; any refund is at Nomi's sole discretion via [email protected]. For App Store purchases, Apple's support page explains how to request a refund through reportaproblem.apple.com, with an update in 24 to 48 hours. Google Play says a refund may be possible within 48 hours of purchase; after that it directs you to the developer.
Is Nomi worth paying for?
- Light daily text chat: 50 free messages a day may be enough.
- Voice calls, group roleplay or video: these need a subscription. On the yearly plan that is about $8.33 a month.
- Heavy image and video use: budget for credits once daily requests run out; HD video costs 10 credits a clip.
- Explicit images: paying does not change Nomipedia's rule that Nomis may not take nude photos, though image rules are looser on the paid web version.
Comparing costs? Kindroid's standard App Store plan is also $15.99 a month but $159.99 a year, and it has no free plan; see Nomi vs Kindroid or Replika vs Nomi. Every app's prices sit side by side in our AI girlfriend app pricing overview.
How to pay less for Nomi

- Try the free plan first.
- Pay yearly if you will stay longer than six months.
- Compare the web checkout price with the app.
- Buy big credit packs only if you will use them.
- Set a reminder before renewal: unused time is not refunded.
