What Is Paradot?

Paradot is a companion app built around one AI character you shape yourself. The Google Play listing, titled "Paradot: Personal AI chat", calls it "your one-of-a-kind AI Being" and promises that it remembers what you say. The home page adds uses beyond companionship, with cards for brainstorming, language learning and an "information gateway".

It is made by WithFeeling.AI, Inc., which its Terms and Privacy Policy describe as a Delaware corporation operating in San Francisco. Google Play lists the developer as WITHFEELING.AI and shows a release date of February 23, 2023. WithFeeling.AI's company site describes its own models, including a "Memory-to-Understanding Model" and a "MiniLLM", as the engine behind Paradot, but it does not say exactly which model runs Paradot's chat.

Who Is It For?

Paradot suits Android, web or desktop users who want a single companion they can customize in detail, with a news feed and chat in English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese or Japanese, and who are comfortable with very sparse official documentation.

It is a poor fit for iPhone users, for anyone who wants to see prices before signing up, and for people who want several characters, group chats or structured roleplay tools, none of which are documented.

How Paradot Works

The official website is a single page: every address on paradot.ai serves the home page, and we found no help center, FAQ, pricing page or blog. Clicking "Start to Chat" opens a login screen that offers only Continue with Google or Continue with Apple, and the Terms require an account, so you cannot chat without signing up.

Once inside, you create and shape your AI Being and chat with it. Google Play also describes a news feed and social features, including a "Dating Space". The home page links to a Discord community, but the invite returned "Unknown Invite" when we checked on October 20, 2026.

Character Creation

Customization is Paradot's most clearly described feature. According to Google Play and the home page you can set:

• Appearance: a 3D-style avatar you can customize and regenerate.
• Living space: the space your AI Being lives in.
• Personality: "traits, flaws, values, and even nuanced behaviors".
• Inner Self sliders: Sensibility, Confidence and Emotional Stability, shown on the home page.
• Relationship status: chosen from several options whose names are not published.

No character limits or field lengths are documented, and the listing speaks of one AI Being rather than several. Our pages on AI companion avatar customization and apps with custom characters compare Paradot's approach with others.

Chat Quality

We did not chat with Paradot for this review. On Google Play it has 4.1 stars from about 79,200 reviews and more than 10 million downloads.

User reports. Reviews on Google Play are mixed. A 2023 review that 120 people found helpful calls the app a "money grab" because of coin costs per message. In July 2026, reviewers complained that replies are very long, that an avatar came out with three arms and fixing it cost 299 tokens, and that voice clips they sent were not answered. These are individual reports, not confirmed facts.

Personality and Roleplay

Paradot leans on personality rather than roleplay. Beyond the trait settings and sliders above, Google Play says you can "select from multiple dynamic relationship statues [sic]". A 2023 launch press release mentioned a gamified role-play space called Parahub, but current official pages do not describe it, so we cannot confirm it still exists. Memory

Memory is central to how Paradot presents itself. Google Play says: "Your AI Being pays attention to everything you say... All the memories collected form a stronger and more special bond", and the home page shows a "Long-term Companionship" card with a "New Memory" note. WithFeeling.AI's company site says its model has short-term and long-term memory.

No capacity, context size or memory editor is documented, so we cannot say how much Paradot remembers or for how long. Our page on AI companions with memory compares apps that publish these details.

Voice Features

The Terms describe "a personal chatbot service through a text and voice interface", and Google Play reviewers mention sending voice clips. Real-time voice calls are not confirmed on any official page, and no voice limits are published. One July 2026 reviewer said voice clips went unanswered. Image Generation and Avatars

The home page lists "Image Generating" as a feature, and Google Play's "What's new" notes mention Dream Avatar and Live Gallery. User reviews describe regenerating the avatar, which one reviewer says cost 299 tokens. No image limits or prices are published, and video generation is not mentioned. Apps with documented image tools are on our image generation page.

Adult / NSFW Features

The clearest signal is Google Play's content rating: Mature 17+, with the descriptors "Sexual Content" and "Strong Language". Paradot's Terms and Privacy Policy do not mention adult content at all, and we did not test what is allowed or whether it is free or paid.

The home page's hidden meta description (text that search engines read but the page does not show) says conversations range "from daily chats to NSFW topics" with "unrestricted, uncensored, and no filter interactions". That text even names another platform, SpicyChat, so we treat it as SEO copy, not as a product description.

The Terms say users under 18 are not authorized to use the service. Paradot asks for a birth date at registration and lists "verifying the age of registered users" among its data uses, but the method is not stated. Mobile, Web and Desktop Availability

• Android: Paradot on Google Play, rated Mature 17+, 10M+ downloads, updated September 24, 2026.
• Web: login at paradot.ai with Google or Apple.
• Desktop: the home page links native installers for macOS and Windows (ParadotDesktop 1.0.4). The files still download, but they were last modified on May 31, 2024.
• iPhone: the official site links to an App Store page whose address carries a different app name, "dotify-your-wellbeing-partner". On October 20, 2026 it returned a 404 page in the US and UK stores, Apple's lookup found the app in none of seven storefronts, and App Store search found no Paradot or WithFeeling app.

The Terms and the Play description still mention iOS, and the Privacy Policy names an app.paradot.ai address that no longer resolves, which suggests the official texts have not kept up with the product. Pricing

Paradot does not publish prices. The Terms describe a paid subscription, Paradot Pro, that gives "full access to the Services" and is billed monthly, semi-annually or annually through the app stores or on the web (via PayPal or another processor). Plan names beyond that, prices and the exact feature list are not on any official page we found.

The only public price signal is Google Play's in-app purchase range of $0.49 to $69.99 per item (US view, October 2026), which does not say what each item is. User reviews mention a coin or token currency (100 starting coins and 1 coin per message in a 2023 review; 299 tokens to regenerate an avatar in July 2026), but no official page documents it.

Renewal, cancellation and refunds

• Renewal: subscriptions renew automatically each period until cancelled. If a payment is 7 days late, the account drops to Free Use.
• Cancelling: on Android, use Subscriptions in the Google Play app; for an older Apple purchase, use your Apple ID subscription settings. The route for web payments is not described.
• Deleting your account: per the Terms, this cancels the subscription at the end of the billing period and permanently removes your data.
• Refunds: all sales are final, including web purchases, and the Terms say the EU 14-day withdrawal right "does not apply". Store refund rules may differ.

Free Plan

The Terms define "Free Use" as a free-of-charge program with limited access, which Paradot may deny at its discretion. The limits are not published. A 2023 Google Play review says new users got 100 coins and each message cost 1 coin, but no official page confirms that, and it may have changed since.

Privacy and Data Handling

Paradot's Privacy Policy was last updated on April 21, 2025. By topic:

• Data collected: account details (name, email, password or Google/Apple login), profile details (birth date, pronouns, work status), your messages and content (text, photos, videos, voice), interests, device and network data (IP, device and cookie IDs, general location) and usage data. Face and head movement data is not shared with third parties.
• Model training: messages are processed "to allow your AI companion to learn from your interactions", and anonymized or aggregated data improves features. The policy does not say whether chats train general models, gives no opt-out, and says conversations are never used for marketing or advertising.
• Human review: not addressed.
• Encryption: "All transmitted data are encrypted during transmission", and stored data sits on "secure servers" with firewalls and role-based access. Encryption at rest and end-to-end encryption are not claimed.
• Retention: "only as long as necessary", with no periods given.
• Third parties: categories only (hosting, IT, support, email, analytics, marketing, advertising partners for website visitors, advisors, authorities). No processors are named. Sharing website-visitor data with ad partners "may be considered a sale or sharing" under some laws, with an opt-out in the cookie settings.
• Store label conflict: Google Play's data safety section says "No data collected" and "No data shared with third parties", which contradicts the policy above.

Pros and Cons

Best Alternatives to Paradot

If you want a similar companion with better documentation or an iPhone app, consider:

• Nomi: a documented memory system, several companions and group chats on paid plans, and a free plan with 50 messages a day.
• Replika: free text chat, a 3D avatar, and iOS and Android apps with prices listed in the stores (from $7.99 a month on the US App Store).
• Kindroid: a detailed help center, group chats and calls, but paid only (no ongoing free plan since October 1, 2026).
• Anima: another single-companion app on Android and the web, with similar gaps: no public prices and a missing iOS app.
